Justin Theroux Takes the Thunder

It was a super slow Labor Day weekend in NYC so I went to see "Tropic Thunder" on Sunday evening. i'm glad I did - it was really funny! It seems many movie goers agreed with me because it's #1 for the third straight week at the box office.

And hey Sex and the City fans did you know one-time Carrie boyfriend novelist Vaughn Wysel (from the "Shortcoming" episode that also featured Valerie Harper playing his mom) Justin Theroux was the writer and exec producer of "Tropic Thunder"? He and star Ben Stiller previously worked together on "Zoolander."

Theroux wasn't in the movie but he does star in the 30 minute mockmentary "Rain of Madness," a hilarious behind the scenes, available for free on iTunes.
